The service

Reno Heat & Air (renoheatandair.com, "we", "us") is a trade name of AuthenitcBrand, LLC. By using this website or submitting a request through it, you agree to these terms.

Reno Heat & Air is an independent referral service. We connect homeowners in Reno, Sparks and the rest of Washoe County with independent, third-party heating and air-conditioning contractors. We do not repair, install or service HVAC equipment ourselves, and we are not a contractor. Before you hire any company, confirm its license with the Nevada State Contractors Board and ask for its license number in writing.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to submit a request or agree to receive text messages.

Contractors are independent

Contractors you are matched with are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. We ask that they hold an active Nevada State Contractors Board license in an air-conditioning classification, but we do not guarantee any contractor's license status, insurance, pricing, availability, schedule or workmanship, and a license can lapse after we last saw it. Check the license yourself before you hire, using our step-by-step license check. Any contract for work is between you and the contractor alone.

Consent to be contacted

When you submit a request, you agree to be contacted about that request by Reno Heat & Air and by the specific contractor (or contractors) named to you at the time, by phone call, email and, if you separately tick the text-message box, by text message. Your consent names those businesses only; it is not consent for any other company to contact you. If your request is later routed to a different contractor, that contractor will not send you automated marketing messages without your fresh consent naming them. Agreeing to text messages or automated calls is never a condition of using this service or of any purchase.

Text message (SMS) program terms

  • Program: Reno Heat & Air request updates.
  • What you will receive: messages about the heating or cooling request you submitted: confirming a contractor match, scheduling, and follow-up. We do not run a recurring promotional text program.
  • Frequency: varies with your request; usually only the messages needed to complete it.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation and no further texts.
  • Help: reply HELP, or use the contact page.
  • Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. See the Privacy Policy.

Call recording

Nevada requires the consent of every party before a telephone call is recorded. If a phone number on this site records or transcribes calls, the call opens with a notice saying so, and calls are not recorded without the consent Nevada law requires.

Information on this site

Costs, permit fees, code figures and license rules on this site are general information, each shown with its source and the date it was read. They are not a quote, an inspection, or legal or engineering advice, and they can change after the date shown. National cost ranges are labelled as national; they are not a promise of what any Reno job will cost.

Acceptable use

Do not submit false requests, someone else's contact details, or automated submissions, and do not try to disrupt the site.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AuthenitcBrand, LLC is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, your reliance on its content, or your dealings with any contractor, and the site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Some of these limits may not apply where the law does not allow them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not alter consent you gave under an earlier version.
